Yes! First of all, it’s important to remember that caffeine is simply a chemical with certain stimulant properties. It doesn’t have a monopoly on boosting energy, or on oomph or flavour. And it comes from a plant, just like our teas.

Herbal teas are usually appreciated more for their light, refreshing qualities. But with the right combination of herbs, they can be every bit as energising, full-bodied and complex as coffee – making them a great caffeine-free alternative.

Lots of other plants have stimulant properties, including the birch, sage and juniper used in our Herb Garden tea blend. Their slightly tart flavour also stimulates the taste buds. And if nothing else, the glorious full-leaf aroma will remind you of the great outdoors, and maybe get you moving!

Most of our herb teas are of course caffeine-free! For coffee lovers who enjoy a strong, robust-tasting drink, I recommend Ruby Mint.
