I blended this tea to help me sleep during my final exams – see the story! It’s often blended with chamomile, but I find lemon balm and mint make marvellous aromatics, and uplifting rose, lavender, linden (limeflower) bring a floral touch that really rounds off the flavour.
Lemon balm, mint, chamomile, linden, rose, lavender, valerian.

Chamomile
Camomile or chamomile? Both spellings are correct. For those who speak Latin, it’s Chamaemelum nobile.
Lavender
Lemon Balm
Linden
Mint
Mint gets its name from Greek mythology. Minthe the water nymph was caught seducing Hades, the ruler of the underworld, and was turned into a mint plant by his jealous wife, Persephone.
Rose
Valerian
The name ‘valerian’ comes from the Latin valere, meaning to be strong and healthy.

Relax with 1 or 2 mugs of Deep Sleep Tea before you settle down to sleep.
Tip: Try with a little honey, and drink hot or cold. For a lighter brew, infuse for 2 minutes.
Want to know more about herbal sleep remedies?
Long before modern sleep teas were invented, your great-great-great ancestors used herbs to help them get a good night’s sleep. Popular herbal sleep remedies included valerian tea (traditionally used for insomnia and other sleep disorders), fragrant lemon balm (found to be relaxing and mildly anti-depressant), and linden (lime) blossom, which is a traditional European remedy used for relaxation.
Camomile tea is used as a calming nerve tonic, and it also has anti-oxidants, and anti-inflammatory effects, making it soothing for conditions such as arthritis. It also has a mild taste enjoyed by children, and makes beautiful lawns. If you’re trying to cut down caffeine to get a good night’s rest, try my Deep Sleep Tea with camomile!

Rating - WOW Sleep Tea
-
WOW! I used Cindy's tea 'Deep Sleep' last night about an hour before bed. WOW. Considering I had drunk a few glasses of prosecco which always keeps me awake at night I had the most amazing sleep. So normally I like to sleep 10-12 hours a night and can still wake up feeling tired. Last night I only had around 8 hours, I woke up to my alarm and felt so fresh and rejuvenated. Absolutely fabulous and I can't wait for my cup before bed tonight

I was lucky enough to meet Cindy when she was starting up her lovely company and it was a free trial from her that got me hooked on her teas in general. I've been using Sleepy Tea (as I call it) for several years now - as and when I need it. It gets me back in a routine after a few days and I can go for weeks/months without needing it but it's so wonderful to know it's there for the next bout of insomnia! Thank you, Cindy
