Clear Mind blended for clarity and calm. Aromatic lavender, sage and mint make this a refreshingly light infusion, while notes of juniper, birch and rosehip give it juicy bite and depth. Delicious and tasty!
Mint, rosehip, sage, birch, lavender, skullcap, passionflower, hawthorn, alfalfa, chamomile, dandelion and juniper.
Great Taste 2016
Alfalfa
Alfalfa comes from the Arabic ‘al-fac-facah’, which means ‘father of all foods’.
Birch
Chamomile
Camomile or chamomile? Both spellings are correct. For those who speak Latin, it’s Chamaemelum nobile.
Dandelion
A dandelion makes an excellent barometer. In fine weather, the clock opens fully, When rain approaches, it shuts like an umbrella.
Hawthorn
Juniper
Lavender
Mint
Mint gets its name from Greek mythology. Minthe the water nymph was caught seducing Hades, the ruler of the underworld, and was turned into a mint plant by his jealous wife, Persephone.

how to enjoy our tea
Enjoy at any time of day.
Take a moment to enjoy the glorious summer scent of the herbs.
Can herb tea really give you a sense of wellbeing?
Yes! Herbs are plants (just like tea or coffee), and contain complex chemical properties. All foods we consume affect our system in some way, so the saying ‘we are what we eat’ should be taken literally.
With that in mind, herb teas and spices can be blended in different ways to take advantage of different inherent properties. Some herbs have stimulant properties, while others have (for example) a relaxant or diuretic effect. Many of our modern medicines (including aspirin) are derived from traditional remedies and compounds discovered through the use of folk medicine.
Wellbeing is subjective, so everyone needs to get to know their own needs and what works for them. If you suffer from anxiety or nervous tension, avoid a stimulant tea such as ginseng (just as you’d sensibly avoid the nerve stimulant caffeine). Go for something with relaxant properties instead, such as camomile.
What’s different about the herbs in Cindy’s Tea is that the leaves haven’t been crushed. You’ll notice their potent aroma as soon as you open the pack. The essential oils in herb leaves are highly volatile and, when crushed, disappear – along with much of the effect and fragrance. In our teas, these precious oils are retained. So whichever tea you choose, you’ll find it stronger than most herb teas on the market.
Take time to choose the right Cindy’s Tea for you and your needs, depending on the time of day (or month!) and whether you’re at your peak or need a pick-me-up. I always urge people to have a good sniff of the tea. We tune into what we need, and smell is a good indicator of this. Experiment and tune in to your body. Above all, relax and enjoy the peaceful ritual of a well-brewed cup of tea. Because a great cup of tea is also good for your soul!
